I love Stalker 2 as a shooter, but goddamn they love their bullet sponges and bullshit. I don't know why they felt the need to include things that are actively unfun. I'm playing through it on Veteran+ and that Faust boss fight is probably one of the worst in gaming history.

Welp, finished Star Wars: Zero Company. I loved the big climax and perspective shift at the end of Act 2,with a couple of emotional moments landing really well. The actual end of the game was a little bit "We caught up with the bad guys, shoot them a lot", but overall it was a great story.

Working on a procedural tower defense game similar to Rogue Tower. Happy with how my different elevations of terrain are coming together. First time using Triplanar mapping in Godot but it was surprisingly easy, especially considering this is with solid colours not texture inputs. #gamedev #Godot

Love the way Arc Raiders has improved and refined so many of the extraction shooter game mechanics. Only complaint really is that once you've done all the quests and projects there's no real incentive to keep playing. So I'm excited to run the Expedition in a couple of days and reset the character.

I've been surprised at how friendly everyone has been in Arc Raiders so far. Might be a low level, solo queue phenomenon, but everyone I've met seems happy to get along, laugh and share. It's felt like everyone against the robots. Very different vibe to the Server Slam a few weeks ago. #ArcRaiders

Holy shit, how did Aspyr manage to make Deus Ex look worse than it did on release? If you're going to spend the time remaking all the art assets for a 26 year old game, at least make sure they actually look half decent. I can only assume that AI was used heavily to churn out this low effort slop.

Very upset that the pen for my drawing tablet has just 'disappeared'. Was on my desk a few days ago, but no longer. Perchance a cat is involved.. I really don't want to buy a replacement when I know it must be somewhere in the house, but I need to draw more maps and characters for my DnD campaign!

The players for my DnD campaign immediately connected to a random sad guy they met in an inn, and now apparently my entire story is pivoting to help Wimpothy get over his ex boyfriend... So he needed a new token in case they decide to kidnap him and take him with them on their mission...
