You know you are really sick when you don't even have the energy to play games. Fever kicked my ass this weekend 😭

Collector’s editions not coming with the game is a good thing (when priced accordingly) -Choice of Physical vs Digital -Platform freedom and availability (especially important for PC) -Collector’s editions are more prone to delays and logistics issues GTA VI Collector’s Edition still sucks though

Westen cares about the Japanese economy so much, he purposefully ignored my daily reminders to purchase a Switch 2 prior to the price increase just so he could give an extra $50 to a small struggling indie company. Such a benevolent man 🤩

Starting the podcast with Westen and Andrew has made me realize how much I enjoy talking about, and sharing my passions with others. Seeing so many amazing people start streaming this past year made me think, why not do the same. As for what Ill be streaming, PC games to start. Favorites that most

And that is a wrap on my PS3 game hunting (minus Prototype 2). Happy I bought some games when I did, and happy I already owned a bunch as well. Unfortunately the other games I am interested in are already at insane prices. Maybe someday. Very pleased with how the whole bookcase turned out!

Not liking the artstyle of the Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake is fine, but we have to stop dismissing stylized human art as AI slop this or AI filter that. Just because AI looks like and steals the things humans create doesn’t mean everything that is human created and looks like AI is now slop.

We also talked about how Big Walk is just like a bachelor party. I'm skeptical if it passes my "will I like this game with people I don't like" test for co-op games. As @thecrossoverappeal.com has pointed out, this is an insane metric but I don't care 😭 youtube.com/shorts/ObCAd...

Appreciate all the love and feedback, especially on the new nameplates because my indecisive ass would never have made a decision on my own. Might carry them over to the 3 person layout because the white background with color looks clean 😤

Pretty much just between the top 3, I think the favorite still is #1 then #3. Personally I think #1 is the most stylish, #2 fits the branding the best but is a lot of teal, and #3 looks the cleanest. I lean towards the #3

David @dsundy.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Alright final post about this. I have condensed the options. #1 is definitely the favorite so far, I personally like #2 and #5 more, but can see how #5 is too hard to read. Introduced a white background option in #3 👀

The podcast releasing tomorrow will be the first time we have 4 people on the podcast! I wonder who it could be 😏 Was messing with the nameplates using colors from the BNG logo since the 4 person layout is somewhat boring. Curious what people think looks best (alt text numbers the pics/options)

The overall gameplay loop was interesting enough but… I never understood why it was going to be a live service game and how they were going to monetize it. It was never going to be able to support itself.
