I’ve lost all faith in the common sense of voters. The pain is likely to get much worse but they seem to have lost the ability to figure out the cause of all the bad things happening. Too much right wing propaganda. But for the Iran war we’d be looking at a red wave election.

I keep thinking if AI can hack into corporate and government systems, it shouldn’t be difficult for it, with some malign encouragement, to hack into nuclear plants, financial institutions and markets, major infrastructure like dams, air traffic control systems, train control systems and wreak havoc.
