Insurance companies deny claims at a much higher rate than Medicare. You don't have to worry about being out of network. (Medicare Advantage plans are not classic Medicare.) I'd take Medicare over commercial insurance hands down.

UHC insurance eliminated prior authorization for 1,700 procedures and billing codes. This was only 30%. It costs everyone else time & money. Patients end up screwed & have to self pay. Some insurance companies even go on doctors' servers to see where the drs can bill Medicare more money.
