Yes, and let's also remember #YourSlipIsShowing, the Black women activists who predicted all of this first and received no credit. "Before Gamergate, before the 2016 election, they launched a campaign against Twitter trolls masquerading as women of color... If only more people had paid attention."

Years Ago, Black Feminists Worked Together to Unmask Twitter Trolls Posing as Women of Color. If Only More People Paid Attention.
The fake accounts had handles like @NayNayCantStop, @LatrineWatts, and @CisHate, and bios like “Queer + black + angry.”

A lot of y’all are not arguing about whether or not violence, in and of itself, is right or wrong, you’re arguing about when YOU believe the violence is justified. Y’all love violence. You soak in it like bath water. And while water comes in different forms, some you may dislike, it’s still water.

For what it's worth, this is precisely the reason the Klan wore hoods when they terrorized communities and disappeared unfavored minorities. Historically, it wasn't called doxxing it was just recognizing a fascist community member.

"We are willing to sacrifice these people's rights" is not a compelling campaign slogan (and it's already taken by the people we are supposed to oppose). You do not defeat fascists by becoming them.

My first GRA (now a prof at Depaul) bought me this shirt in 2019 because I would always tell my students numbers are tools not truth. It was quite literally my stats mantra. I say it so often that my research team adopted it as our lab motto. #Numbers4Justice #QuantCrit #CiteBlackWomen

Just found the slide where Castillo and Strunk use my motto to summarize someone else's QuantCrit Framework. Guess who is no where to be found in their presentation?
Slide from presentation by Castillo and Strunk. Slide reads
Anti-Racist Framework: QuanCrit, QuantCrit attempts to take the lessons and insights of CRT and apply them to
understanding and using quantitative material
• Examine how numbers are used to disguise systemic racism in education, and protect
the racist status quo, white supremacy
• Provides us with a framework that will guide our research and policy making decisions
• “Numbers are no more obvious, neutral, and factual than any other form of data.
Statistics are socially constructed in exactly the same way that interview data are
constructed”
• Summarize: Numbers are tools not truth
