Assumption 1: agents are going to eat the entire software development lifecycle

This assumption is based on the observation that agents are currently very good at writing code and mediocre at everything that comes after that: reviewing code, testing it, finding bugs, fixing bugs, deploying to production, monitoring, and scaling up. They suck at that stuff right now, but my assumption is that that’s a temporary state of affairs. There’s nothing structural about those things that prevents agents figuring out how to do that stuff. If you think I’m right about that, this post will be of interest, but if you think I’m wrong now is a good time to bail.

Thinking about the era of technology where the easiest way to display images was to take all the air out of a tube and point a death ray at your face. It's fine though. There was a thin screen between you and the death ray that caught all the death and turned it into pretty colors.

last night, a friend and I recycled some old PCBs left over from another project into notebook covers! We cut the pages and stitched the spine by hand. #electronics #bookbinding #diy
two notebooks on a table cluttered with tools, The notebooks have covers made from A5 size green circuit boards. One is open and shows plain ivory color pages and a cord bookmark. They are bound using a coptic stitch binding.One of the notebooks from the previous picture sitting on its side showcasing its binding stitches. The stitches form rows of links going across the spine from one cover to the other.
