Yes, I'm still here. My wife died a month ago and it has got only a little bit easier. Her funeral is in 6 days time. I hit rock bottom a fortnight ago. The wonderful staff at the nearby charity shop have given me a few weeks worth of food. Sadly I've learned who my real friends are.

I got back home a few hours ago. The doctors think my chest pains were due to (understandable) anxiety rather than a heart attack. We had a long chat and they recommended contacting mental health services. I'm reluctant. I've tried them before and they weren't of much use tbh.

I was at the British Film Institute on Wednesday looking for a rare BBC ghost report from 1971 included in a magazine TV show. I didn't find it, so I'm hoping to arrange a return at the end of the month to view the remaining 5 editions. Really expensive too! #phantomsfriday

My wife is in hospital being pumped full of antibiotics after she came down with an infection over the weekend. But last week's scan has shown that the chemo has currently stopped the cancer from progressing.
