Yes, I'm still here. My wife died a month ago and it has got only a little bit easier. Her funeral is in 6 days time. I hit rock bottom a fortnight ago. The wonderful staff at the nearby charity shop have given me a few weeks worth of food. Sadly I've learned who my real friends are.

Thank you. It is a nightmare that is not getting any easier. Her funeral is on September 26th, the day before what would have been her 44th birthday.

I saw Carly's body at the funeral home yesterday. They had done a good job. And I think I managed to offend three or four people yesterday including some in laws and my best friend.

I got back home a few hours ago. The doctors think my chest pains were due to (understandable) anxiety rather than a heart attack. We had a long chat and they recommended contacting mental health services. I'm reluctant. I've tried them before and they weren't of much use tbh.

Yes it was said that they would pay whatever an episode was worth. Jeremy Bentham mentioned it in DWB and Steve Roberts confirmed it to me, saying something like "let's see what goodies turn up!" I suspect Steve got this from Bentham. The rumour was reported as fact.
