When I worked at Party City, we used to rig up pneumatic blowguns using the big helium tanks, a straw, wads of paper, and tacks. We’d take turns trying to shoot down wayward balloons that had become unmoored and floated to the ceiling. Good memory.

This type of wish has a weird Babylonian Lottery aspect to it. Because luck is invisible and good luck isn’t immediately apparent, it wouldn’t be clear if the wish was working. There may also be no difference from just believing the wish had been granted, which you could do now without a genie
