I am genuinely interested in the broadest possible definition of what HGS/games & history/the past might mean (inc.e.g. archaeogaming) and I think it's crucial to know what's being done outside the academy too (which some of the most important scholars in the field have also been forced to leave!).

Realistically I should just try and find someone else(!). But as caring responsibilities (for older and younger generations) make it harder to research/write, I'm still way off finishing my trade book, so I'm wary that others might not take my work seriously. Your having a choice is great though!
