Folklore likes to travel ... #FolkloreThursday
Approached with politeness and genuine curiosity, people usually want to talk about their folklore. To represent for their locality through it. Especially when they have personal, intimate experience with it. Within us is a hardwired urge to share and transmit its stories. Folklore likes to travel – to possess and jump from person to person so it can walk further, flourish in new soil – and it has conditioned us from the first fires to enable this in acts of communal storytelling.

Some buildings hold their shadows after sunset. They stretch and pace beyond the failing sun. Stalk corridors, assemble in former ballrooms in hope of a grand waltz. Creep wooden doors and walls overdressed for the dark. Shadows that are so eager to meet you. – #DAKilroy, 1982

Up until very recently indeed, airlines were the only businesses that I dealt with regularly that practiced "price discrimination," charging different customers different prices for the same seats.
