Now my hometown has its own 38th & Chicago, right on the route I take to visit my cousin @zachheise.com Apparently "police reform" even in "liberal" cities means nothing. So disheartening.

May 22, 2011 is of course the 15th anniversary of the infamous Joplin, MO EF5, by far the deadliest U.S. tornado in modern times. I was living in Milwaukee, WI at the time and my attempted "chase" of the northern part of the moderate risk involved driving west while photographing trains en route.
