The kid that made me a mom turns 15 today. Statistically speaking, she never should’ve been born. Not only had I had 5 miscarriages before her, but I also went through chemo that was supposed to render me infertile. Yet, here she is. My true miracle. She has changed me; made me the person I am today

Today is the 7th anniversary of Idéfix coming to live with us. I literally texted my spouse and asked if they’d divorce me if I brought home a dog (do not recommend!) but it was the best impulse decision ever.

I’ve spent way too much time the last two days researching aquarium stuff. I haven’t kept one in about a decade but a very old friend reminded me how much I love fish. BlueFish needs to live up to their name after all 🐟 Time to also reclaim a little bit of myself that I had lost.

I give shingles a 0/10. Especially where I had an outbreak at along my trigeminal nerve. I am mostly healed and yet still dealing with very annoying (and sometimes painful) side effects.
