Wouldn't it be nice if in the wake of #Dolly Parton's death, everyone could agree that "being nice, helping children read, etc" was something that could transcend politics? Somehow, that woman was beloved by all - shrewdly not getting into politics. She was totally a progressive though.

wow, setting a custom domain as the handle is real easy. Still think that this twitter-esque method of communication is clunky and outdated compared with That Meta Website (for all its faults) but BlueSky certainly is the most tech-keyed-in of the major systems (sorry Mastodon)
