Ok this is the favorite commission for day 2. The prompt was "ghost rider as a mail carrier"

i find “you are valid” to be very infantilizing and i think there are a lot of ways to support people who aren’t ready to take steps toward transitioning yet that aren’t this, esp. because being afraid of becoming “ugly” or being on “poisonous” t are big myths that keep trans men off hormones

TLDR: Fur Affinity's advertising partners are demanding that they ban adult content. Sciggles and FA want to firmly tell them to go fuck themselves. If they're going to be able to afford to do that, they need the community's help. Pitch in. Keep furry weird. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...

Anyway that's my list. The funny thing is i work in games now and don't even play them that much lately

000

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

9 is snowrunner because it popped off in our friend group right when lockdown was happening and we were all staying home playing this each nite trying to feel normal. so many hilarious wrecks+salvage operations, nights spent getting a little too real in the vc talking about life and love and loss

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

8 is Hitman (2016-Present). It's slapstick dress up and kill awful people in increasingly silly ways simulator. Yay! hosted many Hitman Roulette afternoons in Discord w/ friends where i drew prompts out of hats on cam like the GB lads. I did an impressive amount of flirting while playing this game..

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

7 is Destiny because I met soooo many of my friends, partners, roommates through this game. So many lasting friendships made, thousands of hours of playing. We were so into it we got World Fifth completion on a raid. I hadn't played WoW enough to raid so this my first taste of that flavor of coop

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

6 is DayZ (the mod) because that turned me on to post-apoc particularly cold war / eastern europe stuff, then Arma 2/3 and that got me into ShackTac and that by extension into the concept of dedicated Online Gaming Communities beyond just playing with my local friends / matchmade randos

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

5 is runescape because i played it religiously living in rural indonesia. It was the best online game that worked on our slow DSL and i still play it like 25 years later! Used to keep a faux leather binder of Account Goals Lists my friends and i crafted during recess to plan what skills/quests to do

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

4 is KotOR2 because it's one of the best written star wars things of all time, made me a SW fan so much i got interested in fanfic and started writing my own including non SW stuff. Kickstarted my interest in RPGs particularly Bioware stuff, Mass Effect and Dragon Age each also having a big impact

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

3 is Ruby because i would play this on my SP and keep that mf thing tucked in my cargo short pockets as our family moved around the world. Did a lot of laying on floors playing this as we waited for our next plane/ferry/bus. kickstarted an interest in JP culture/media

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

And shaped my tastes in sci fi stories, shooters, and were how i met so many of my friends growing up.

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

2 is Halo CE. had mostly given up on trying to convince my parents to get us a game console until i played this at my friend's house in middle school in Venezuela and it was so fun we could not put it down for like a full 24 hrs. Halo Coop, split screen customs, and system link were hugely formative

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

They're also chronological at least in the order I experienced them. 1 is OoT because that was the first game i felt enraptured by as a child and had to be dragged away from. The setting was mysterious and dark but also silly and charming. Also that pretty elf twink made me a nonbinary fxg

100

dreavyn @dreavyn.catboy.surf · 29/09/2026

ok ill do one. im definitely taking the prompt literally in that these are "the games that shaped me," not necessarily my Top 9 of All Time
