NEWS: Costs of childcare is too high, better off not working and being on benefits and having kids than trying to work, work style changes after having children, feeling more pressure to work like i don't have kids, and have kids like we don't work. I wonder why fertility rates are declining!

🏃‍➡️ Your pre-submission clarity sprint 48 hours before submission, run this: Hour 1: Read paper aloud. Mark every stumble. Hour 2: Fix stumbles. Hour 3: Delete 10% of word count. (Yes, 10%. It's always possible.) Hour 4: Read only first sentences of each paragraph. Fix broken flow.

Five research questions that every scientific abstract must answer: CONTEXT 1. Why did you do it? PROBLEM 2. What did you do? SOLUTION 3. How did you do it? RESULTS 4. What did you find out? IMPLICATIONS 5. What does it all mean? Yes, this is a mini version of your paper.

If you are submitting papers, you (or those in your co author team) should be reviewing papers. Louder for those in the back: IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING YOUR AUTHOR TEAM SHOULD BE REVIEWING !!
