Being an AC for #chi2026 has been interesting so far. I’m senior reviewer for 7 papers and reviewer for 6. - 4 assisted desk rejects (ADR) - 2 more should have been ADR - only 1 useless ChatGPT review. - 5 reviews where text doesn’t justify the recommendation clearly (that I asked them to fix)

She is reflecting on the way that technology played a role in society for older women in Japanese society: eg Microsoft excel being used for art and creativity in the 1990s.
