I've really enjoyed watching the World Cup, seeing all the diversity, and talent on display, celebrated, valued, cherished. Now close your 👀 and imagine this same scenario in all areas of life. Why do we love diversity on fields and courts, but politicize it pretty much everywhere else??? 🤦🏾‍♀️

Beginning in the early 1980s,, #JesseJackson led a coalition of Black organizations through his PUSH (People United to Serve Humanity) to boycott American companies like Budweiser, and others because of their anti-Black hiring practices. These actions led to widespread changes.

Loving all the men really keen to be mayor but been in council for years and their actual wards are riddled with problems. Classic case of seeking power, not solutions. Mayor Chow hasn't fixed everything or gotten it all right, but we know she's not sitting in photo ops at 7am. shuffling paper.
