Apart from Snyder dumbing it down, the Watchmen film really went wrong in the casting of Adrian Veidt. Every other character was pretty bang-on.

There was a very deliberate effort to make the cast more diverse and tackle socially important topics. As Don points out in the latest post, in this issue characters dispel rumors about HIV/AIDS, advocate for refugees, champion adoption, and point out how kids like Keith suffer from inequality...

Trying to square my love of local, and my trust in the people I know who work there with the idea of being charged a $7 per seat convenience fee for buying Broadway Theatre tickets in person. I still did it but it feels weird. At least I dodged the $2.50 per ticket online fee, no, I’m not kidding.

For me, How Chee! My buddy the great @craigsilliphant.bsky.social made a documentary about a beloved late night tv commercial that has lived on through VHS and the internet. I got to draw the poster, and it was super fun to work on. Everyone should go see this film!
