I'll say that the act of assigning a general priority is different than ordering those priorities for me. It's like assigning points for LOE and the looking at all the tickets and choosing what to do first from the earlier assignments.

Since I have an old Rabbit R1, I wanted to try and turn it into a smartphone. It runs Android and has a sim slot after all. Anyway, ended up bricking it so that was fun. All the sketchy github releases don't make it worth the trouble.

Apparently, my personal account for Twitch has been livestreaming 0 data for about 16 hours. I know exactly know it has happened but I'm too lazy to stop it from the source. If this was YouTube I could stop the stream easily from the web interface, but for some reason Twitch doesn't let you. 🤷

Re: Data in Design video. I think an important distinction is that I don't believe Nate and I are speaking about the token names being dynamic, only the values assigned to those token names. I'd argue against dynamic token names personally.

My big thing is when I want to whip up a quick prototype of something, there's all of this noisy HTML in there now. I get it's how you're supposed to compose the page but hiding it before was really beneficial. Especially when I used to teach frontend.

The US Web Design System is load-bearing infrastructure for thousands of government websites. It makes it easy for small teams with no resources (i.e. most .gov teams) to make usable, accessible websites that work for everyone. Today, it's as close as it's ever been to being replaced with AI slop.

My wife had one, used it a few times and eventually sold it. The big problem is moving it in and out when wanting to sit instead. Personally, I think floating chairs are the answer here. That way you can keep it under the desk and then swing the chair in when you want to sit. www.suspendit.com

I has a similar thought when I wanted to tackle the "simple" task of counting components and then couldn't answer if a card with a button counted as one or two. And then I saw this and effectively gave up. youtu.be/fXW-QjBsruE

Agree, but I've also questioned the purpose of it at all. If it's meant to demonstrate "things made of things" that's fine. But why do we need to put stuff into groups based on composition? What value does it have?
