After being sworn in as MLA for Calgary-Shaw, I signed the pledge to defend Canada. As a proud fourth-generation Canadian, I firmly oppose separatism. My ancestors fought for freedom and Canada in WWII; we carry that legacy on. Albertans deserve to know where their MLA stands.

An 84 yr-old woman was told she’d need to use a birth certificate or passport in order to renew her licence, which expired while she was recovering from a stroke. No passport, and her birth certificate had her maiden name, so she had to find her marriage certificate from 1961. Who asked for this?
