As Attorney General, we stand firmly behind the International Criminal Court and its vital work in holding perpetrators of international crimes to account. I disagree with the sanctions on the Court. I will continue to protect international law and defend its independence.

After scuppering Labour MP Stella Creasy’s efforts to cap donations in the Commons last week, time is running out to introduce a UK donations limit in the House of Lords, where the bill has its second reading today. The public seems on board. bylinetimes.com/2026/09/14/w...

Once you understand the corporate culture of AI hyperscalers is everyone cooking their brains by locking themselves in the bathroom, holding flashlights under their chins, and saying "Aaaaaaaaaay Eyeeeeeee" until they wet themselves in terror, things snap into focus: pluralistic.net/2023/06/04/a...
A cutaway view of a stone tower containing an elaborate water-powered medieval geared machine. Rising out of the machine is a rainbow-tinted, pixelated God with the robes, beard and all. To one side of this scene is a cluster of tiny people in Jesus-era robes, falling about themselves in religious ecstasy all over a stone staircase, atop of which stands a robed priest with his hands upraised. The background is a set of shining golden rays, emanating from pixel-God.

As the worrying weeks dragged on my dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time & inhabiting art's most iconic scenes. Good news/bad news for Trump. Good news: you can get elected by promising to do something about the cost of living crisis, and the president actually has a lot of ways to improve people's daily costs. Bad news: everything you do to fix working people's cost of living maked an oligarch worse off. 1/
