So the livestream marathon is over, and at time of posting have raised £4,420! It was a hard weekend, especially so when JustGiving decided to just stop thier stream overlay facilities for the weekend 😅 Thanks to all who donated and watched for your support! It means a lot.

3.5 hours into the stream with Aaron, and after some ridiculously generous donations we are close to reaching our £3.7k target, which will mean we have raised over £50,000 for the charity since 2019! Currently playing Duck Detective.

So much of the world's ills can be attributed to the latency between success or failure and it's consequences. The PS5 thrives because of what they were doing on PS4 and the PS6 will fail because of what they are doing now but the latency allows the blame to be obfuscated

A tricky one. DC can be built with focus on renewables, in areas that do not impact on landscape- and this should be the goal. Scotland (and UK) needs compute and data independence, so banning them outright cannot be an option. If we see sending our data overseas as a risk, we need local infra.

People are getting tricked by OpenAI’s marketing hype. This is essentially the standard asking an LLM to do a thing and it doesn’t follow instructions that we see daily. “Find exploits to use to hack this website but don’t go online” and it went online. That’s not sentience, LLMs are probabilistic

A digital painting I posted on instagram. I didn’t use ai to create it.
