Is this map from an earlier plan? I think this phase is running as an extension of the (much slower) Middleborough branch rather than the Stoughton branch. And switching to the Stoughton branch in an unfunded second phase

The current Border to Boston trail is beautiful but hard to access from transit. Some upcoming projects will close significant gaps in Peabody and build a big chunk towards Newburyport. Looking forward to learning more at this talk!
