WIP! Been a weirdly busy weekend with a fair number of side quests. As such I’ve had basically no brush time, and what I have had I’ve been using to design the display base and dial in some 3D printed parts for the sage/scribe. Going to actually try to finish the model tomorrow. Base next weekend.

WIP! Almost done the knight. Lots of little talismans to do. I’m not thrilled with him. Honestly. I can’t tell if it’s the sculpt or just how it’s coming together, but I don’t want to spend more time trying to figure it out. Damn deer head took like an hour and I still think it’s poop. Oh well.

Hit up World of Retro Computing Expo 2026 with @jiveturkey.bsky.social and had a blast. Took basically no photos but imagine the sound of 100 C64 keyboards all at once. Also confirmed my belief the PET is the best looking computer, even though you have to have a lab coat to use it.

WIP! My friends, we are SO CLOSE. The lines have been painted and as I’m posting this the edges are drying. Once they’re fully dried it’s varnish, then take off the paper bottom and glue on to foam core and then… DONE! Tomorrow, I can feel it. Tomorrow!

Now reading! Galaxy always seemed like a bit of a mess. Amazing content but I mean from an editorial standpoint. Dates not printed on issues, incorrect issue numbers. Typos in author/story names. Artists only sometimes credited. But they had some great content. Just a mess as a pulp collector!
