The team filed an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of Republican Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Chuck Grassley of Iowa in support of the lowa attorney general's defense of the state's 2024 immigration enforcement law seeking to make being an unauthorized immigrant a state crime.
That law remains blocked by a federal court.
