The suspension of U.S. assistance for Ukraine is a very unfortunate and significant development, but it may not have immediate impact. Ukraine is far less dependent on the U.S. for day to day battlefield needs in 2025, than it was in earlier periods of the war. 1/

1000 days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine continuing the war Russia started in 2014. When I visited Ukraine in March 2024 every single town I visited from Kyiv, Ternopil, Lutsk, Lviv, and Uzhhorod had memorials to those killed by Russian aggression. #StandwithUkraine🇺🇦
