I found a couple of earlier references to “bucket list”, but not with the same meaning. Like a literal list of buckets in store inventory, etc. it looks like the screenwriter is the first one to use it as “things to do before you kick the bucket.”

I used the same page layout as my previous books, so I didn’t check the preview as thoroughly as maybe I should have, but it worked fine the last six times! It just means the paperback version is delayed a bit, but I’m still super disappointed.

So apparently if you schedule a paperback release date on KDP, your book settings get “locked” a few days before release day. So if your proof copy comes too late and you find layout issues that need fixing, you have to wait until release day to upload the new version. 😩
