Came back from vacay to judge a 24 person sealed PQ today. I survived the day despite a tension headache, our distro not shipping our kit, and confusion around top 8 draft seating. Now it's pumpkin cheesecake ice cream time. #fabtcg

Every #fabtcg Pre-Release we like to do something special with a custom promo card drawn by a local player. This time we decided to do an additional variant for our PQ as well. This might be my favorite one yet bc of the storefront. I present Gate to I'Aratheal by Justin Land. justinlandonline.com

Saw Buddy tonight and it may be one of my favorite movies this year. Highly recommended if you like weird horror comedy movies with practical effects or are a millennial raised on Barney and Adult Swim. #BuddyMovie

The Portal Comics and Gaming #fabtcg Skirmish top 8 and bracket. Two locals made their first event top 8 and were so happy. Love this game and our local community.

Not really into the game itself personally but the OP structure for Riftbound for 2027 has me super jealous. I would love to see the #fabtcg equivalent of their Nexus Cup events happen for CC especially.

2 of the 4 Assassins are effectively unplayable, one is mid at best and extremely dependent on meta, and one is about to LL. IMO, people harbour ill will because the class is divisive. Once Marionette LL's, assassin & ranger are in the same spot.

My favorite part of the new Spiderman was when the fire alarm went off and interrupted a scene with a bunch of people in a parking lot wearing Spiderman merch then we had to go outside to a parking lot full of people in Spiderman merch. 10/10

My Shred playmat from the prize wall at BH Philly is the pride of my playmat collection. I was only able to attend one day of events and had to win a Heavy Hitters Sealed event and take only one loss in the Super Armory on Uzuri to have enough tickets to get it. #FABCW @fabtcg.com

All of these new #fabtcg announcements this week have been amazing. I just wish like 90% of them didn't require me to spend $600+ on flights to be a part of. LSS, give us an LGS level monthly CC event w cool promos pls.

#fabtcg has a real affordability problem with the interesting mechanics hidden behind prohibitively expensive cards. I would rather the value of my cards tank than the player base reach a premature apogee.

Great BNR update. I've complained often about the difference between community and internal expectations for a bunch of the topics covered in this article and this is very much the kind of discussion I was hoping for. Also, RIP bozo to Rememberance. You will not be missed.

Hello #fabtcg I am super burnt out by the data set and I wrote a ✨ manifesto ✨ about it. TL;DR IMO community needs to chill out on expectations they have towards the software me and other devs provide for mostly free, and I'm working on changes to reduce my burnout www.patreon.com/posts/crash-...

This is not OK. This is gatekeeping not wealthy players from competing at high levels. Fables should not be essential gameplay pieces for some heroes. Ban Fables from CC please. #fabtcg #banFables

Been feeling weird about #fabtcg lately. On one hand the SAGE starters and format are fantastic and bringing in new players locally big time. Alternatively the CC meta comes off a bit stale with the last few sets having minimal impact and we're losing veteran players to Riftbound.
