Here’s the thing about Tressie leaving. I’m sure a lot of people who follow me have been annoyed about my regular complaints about what feels like a unique type of reply guy and self righteous antagonism on here. But the reason I point it out is to try to get users and the Bsky team to intervene.

reuters has really done an amazing job detailing, piece by piece, how tesla is basically a giant pile of fraud built on the back of poorly built tech and the empty promises of an opportunistic bullshitter

This Saturday, come along and see me at Gosh Comics.:

A cartoon of some blob-like characters signing and drawing in books in a comic shop. The text explains that they are Tom Gauld and Chris Riddell at Gosh Comics for Free Comic Book Day from 2-3pm on 4th May 2024.

📢 App Version 1.80 is rolling out now (1/4) One of our goals right now is to simplify the interface. For a first step, we’ve moved “Moderation” from the side menu into the Settings page.

A screenshot of the Bluesky interface. The settings page now shows "Moderation" under the "Basics" section.

Would it help if we described the hypothetical to the Court as "the president could order Seal Team 6 to assassinate members of the Supreme Court so that he could fill their seats with new appointments"? (And don't say "they'd impeach him" when he could also order hits on members of Congress.)

They charged this Emory professor with battery for asking an officer “what are you doing?” when they were brutalizing a student protester. Just viciously threw her on the ground and then charged *her* with a crime.

The new policy that Indiana University used to justify snipers, arresting students and faculty, and banning those arrested from campus for a year, was enacted *one day* before yesterday's protests began. It wasn't even posted online until yesterday morning. www.idsnews.com/article/2024...

Operational definition of humbling: finishing a marathon close to your age group qualifying time for Boston, exhausted, and being passed near the end by a young woman from Japan dressed as a Playboy bunny. 😅🐰

It seems like after this place opened up completely, there haven't been very many MAGA scum showing up. I guess they're snowflakes that need a safe space because they know they would get their asses handed to them without nanny Elon to enable them.🤷‍♂️
