Moscow. October 7. INTERFAX.RU - The Evenki Autonomous Okrug administration announced it has declared a state of high alert in the village of Tura and other settlements in the Ilimpiysky group in northern Krasnoyarsk Krai due to food shortages.

"In Tura and the villages of Ilimpija, by decree of the Evenkia administration (...) a regime (...) of 'high alert' has been introduced," the statement reads.

This is due to the lack of shipping on the Nizhnyaya Tunguska River and limited supplies of vegetables, fruits, milk, and eggs. Local stores stock canned vegetables, fish, and meat, cereals, flour, sugar, salt, pasta, and meat products.

This follows from data on the state procurement portal; the penitentiary institution posted a corresponding notice on October 5.
According to the tender documentation, the contract is for the purchase of one electromechanical guillotine made of 9 CrSi alloy tool steel. The tendered item must have four cutting edges and be capable of cutting objects up to 2.5 meters long and made of material with a strength of up to 400 N/mm2.
The supplier is expected to deliver their goods to the village of Volchanets in Primorsky Krai, where the penal colony is located. Applications for the competition are accepted until October 13, 2026.

Russians will continue to experience freezing temperatures in their homes for a long time during the heating season due to problems with pipes, according to Konstantin Krokhin, a member of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Housing and Utilities Sector, according to NSN.

Residents of many Russian regions are complaining of cold in their apartments, despite the start of the heating season. According to him, one of the main reasons is the critical deterioration of utility networks, which in some places has reached 90%. Utility companies intentionally do not turn on heating at full capacity to prevent major accidents and pipe bursts.

The problem is exacerbated in areas where older heating systems are being repurposed to serve new multi-story buildings. Networks originally designed for five-story buildings cannot handle the load of 20-story buildings, and attempts to increase pressure to supply the required amount of heat only increase the risk of breakdowns and accidents.

At 10:48 PM, the capital's Department of Transport wrote on its Telegram channel that the station was operating normally and trains were running on schedule.

"There is no threat to passenger safety or train operations," the department assured.

They confirmed that smoke had been detected at the station previously. Metro employees promptly switched the ventilation shafts to smoke exhaust mode and inspected the equipment. A special commission will determine the cause of the smoke.

Der Zubau von #Photovoltaik (x 4) und #Windkraft (+30%) seit Ende 2021 in Österreich wirkt und kann die heuer schwache Wasserkraft großteils kompensieren. Ohne Zubau wäre der aktuelle Erneuerbaren-Anteil nicht 72 sondern 58 Prozent. Auch Strompreise, Gasbedarf und Importe wären höher. Dranbleiben!

Die Anwendbarkeit des IFG wird daher durch § 4 Abs. 8 GWO 1996 nicht ausgeschlossen; sein Inhalt ist hingegen von der Behörde - an die ein Informationsbegehren herangetragen wird - so auszulegen, dass die Verschwiegenheit ihr gegenüber nur soweit greift, als kein Recht auf Information besteht. Andernfalls wäre nämlich die Verfassungskonformität des § 4 Abs. 8 GWO 1996 in Bezug auf Art. 22a B-VG in Frage zu stellen."
