No matter what they do, Epstein story is here to stay simply because it has ALL the elements of a great thriller. It’s a good story and algorithm is primed for it. It’s a book and a movie that is writing itself - collectively, and somewhat effortlessly because the infrastructure is in place.

Berkeley/Oakland earthquake: MyShake app actually warned us seconds before we felt shaking, which - if it were a bigger one - would have been helpful in being less disoriented. But it was stressful hearing the warning in the metallic voice right in your bedroom. Also, we need a drill.

When Yugoslavia was falling apart and civil war started, we were clutching our pearls so hard and we were disgusted and shocked and certain that somebody will do something. That didn’t last long because we sold pearls for food we had to wait in line for 1/2
