All's Fair is an erotic RPG which means that on itch it won't come up in searches or show up on the Popular games page. Which is of course bad because puritanism blah blah BUT it does mean I can delude myself into believing it's the best selling game on itch and how would you even prove me wrong

We keep seeing the same discourse on a loop because new people are joining the hobby, and there's not really a literature review for gamers. That being said, the people who you've seen in those trenches over and over again should be side-eyed heavily.

My favorite high protein meal has become homemade refried beans -A can of black beans has about 15g of protein -Use bone broth to blend, 1 cup is about 6g -Cook moisture out in pan with onions and garlic -Fried egg on top=6g If you add chicken, you're eating roughly 50g of protein in one meal

We just crossed 1250 people for the Boundless campaign. Stoneburner had like... half that when we launched and we made like 45K CAD with the campaign. The economic aspect for the world is different today, but I'm a _tiny_ bit optimistic this one is going to work well. ^^

Just a reminder that the distinction between dragons and wyverns 1) is a subset thing; wyverns are dragons, but dragons are not necessarily wyverns and 2) arises from 15th century UK and French heraldry, not some mythological distinction. If you correct someone on number of legs, you're a pedant.

I build top-down. Factions first, then heads, major opposition within the faction, a player interface character, and then more as the story requires. Like, let's say we're doing a fantasy game with a nation at war pushing for important resources to make weapons.

Dylan @djmalenfant.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

I know it's not the point, but the idea that men shouldn't compete with women is rooted in misogyny and the fear that losing to women makes men look bad. I support trans athletes playing with their gender, but I also support just doing one league per sport and being done with it.

I really don't like how the rise of Actual Play podcasts with actors as players has fostered the idea that RPGs, and D&D especially, is about improv theater. If that's how you like to play it, that's 100% fine, but it's not what I'm into. I want to play a game with rules and objectives.

The idea that D&D is the best system for AP because it's the most readily understood must mean that Mandarin is the best language for novels since it's the one spoken by the most people. Just a terrible argument to even try to make.
