Although I barely play platformers... I think it has to be Commander Keen. I player Tank Wars and Lemmings and Math Blaster and Armada2525, but it was Commander Keen that I read the manual for, the fluff for, and beat over and over. I made up headcanon for. I even tried to plot my own stories for.

In the Richmond Ikea and seeing all these little kids running around losing their minds at all the displays. It reminded me of being that age and running around an ikea. And it hit me that it was the *same ikea*. This was the first ikea in Canada. I ran around these same displays 40+ years ago.

I hate this exact period of morning dog walks, because a) the sun is JUUUST above the horizon and b) there ARE multiple bears in the neighborhood. So I spend a lot of time staring directly at the sun, wondering if that shadow is going to kill me.
