Genuinely one of the best and most useful quotes to come out of this game

Quote from Queen from Deltarune chapter 2.

And evergreen advice for any kind of alarming email/phone call. Something I have struggled to remember when I've been phished, for real.

The defense, increasingly, is a single habit: when an email tells you something alarming about an account, don't respond to the email. Go to the service directly, on your own, the way you always do. If something is really wrong, you'll see it there. If you don't see it there, the email was lying.

Had a dream that there was global panic about the world running out of oxygen, Nintendo was the only video game company to make a statement about it, and the internet collectively spent its final hours on Earth debating whether Nintendo was being genuine or not

A fabricated statement from Nintendo of America's Twitter account addressing a fictitious scenario in which the Earth's oxygen supply is presumed to be depleting at a rapid pace, leaving humanity with mere days to live.

"This is Miyamoto. On behalf of everyone who is employed at Nintendo Co. LTD and its subsidiaries, we deeply mourn the countless human lives which will be lost due to the depletion of the global oxygen supply. To anyone who has ever played one of our games, we are eternally grateful to have created long-lasting fun and memories for you. To ease the suffering of families and children across the world, the Mario Kart World game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system will be available as a free download on Nintendo eShop for the foreseeable future. We hope this small gesture of kindness will ease the pain as humanity prepares for a worst-case scenario."

The statement is distastefully plastered with logos for Nintendo and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as with a render of Mario from Mario Kart World.

A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement.

PlayStation Nation: "What the fuck are you doing falsely advertising sales during these trying times? I went to the website and Mario Kart World is still selling for $80 USD."

Kremling Kevin: "If you actually read the statement, it clearly says the discount is available on Nintendo eShop. Meaning the application on the Switch 2 itself, not the web browser version."

PlayStation Nation: "Point still stands."

A fabricated Tweet responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement.

Isaboner: "Nothing for Switch 1 owners?"

For those going "huh?" The picture below is currently circulating. There are no references, specific survey links listed, or any way to verify the claim. Please don't boost things like this.

A picture of a discord message that says

"@ everyone @ announcements if you recently filled out a survey about Discord potentially getting involved with AI, change your password. That was an account grabber link."

Below that post is the following quoted post.

"Well, apparently that survey I put was not a real official Discord survey, despite the fact that Discord has used the website for surveys in the past. People are apparently getting hacked. If you took the survey, change your password, posthaste.

I'm very sorry everyone =3=; "

An example image of the "label" marking on a post with an image, that allows the user to mark their work as nsfw

This is dead serious, do not do this. It opens up a ton of liability and actively decreases the likelihood (or fully eliminates) that what you want or hope to happen will happen.

Not my picture but my god this EXACTLY sums up why I'm so done with goddamn internet discourse. Everyone feels they have to have a take. It feels like people are seeking out negativity rather than just... enjoying what they do like. I genuinely don't wanna be around people who act like this anymore

An anecdotal guideline on how I like to post art on Bluesky! This is what works for me, it might not be 100% solid so use it with a grain of salt 🙏 #arttips #artsky

A guide with recommendations on what size and format to post art in on Bluesky.

Bluesky converts images to JPEG/JPG so it is recommended to use your own software to export your art as JPEG/JPG. This is to avoid Bluesky's rough format conversion.

The minimum size seems to be 900 pixels on both the width and height dimensions with a maximum of 2000 pixels likewise.

The recommended size seems to be between 1200 pixels to 1800 pixels on both sides.

For pixel art, it is recommended to post exactly in 900 pixels or 1200 pixels for the width.

This is because the width seems to be the most important for pixel art online display.

Additional Notes:
The maximum is 2000 pixels, but recommended to keep below this to avoid possible compression.

Applying a "unsharpen mask" at 10% strength helps with image clearness.

To keep your art safe, do not upload in anything more than 72dpi.
