I've heard some disturbing things from MPs in my lifetime. Namely in the last decade. Jonathan Gullis blaming literal children for being trafficking victims. Christopher Chope sabotaging a bill to ban upskirting. Jacob Rees-Mogg saying Grenfell Tower victims lacked common sense. This is up there.

I've been quiet for the past couple of weeks, mostly a result of the Welsh GIC stopping all surgeries. I live in Scotland, and surgeries are provided by NHS England under a four nations contract. Holyrood is flaky on trans people. I'm also currently awaiting a consultation for bottom surgery.

For years HRT didn't have any noticeable effect on my chest, I had to wear breast forms. Having to take my tits off at the end of the day kept me locked in a dysphoria cage, until HRT finally blessed me. So it's a different reason I have for hating the conflation of drag and being transgender.
