English obviously fails on spelling and pronunciation, but the verbs are pretty simple, and we don’t have honorifics, counters, or declension. But “the” and especially “do” are alien concepts to many languages and central to English grammar.

Oh, no honorifics, obviously. FWIW Chinese pronunciation is pretty simple: not too many sounds, the ways they can be combined are regular, and the rules don’t get broken. It’s just hard for westerners to get the sounds right because of tones and some of the sounds don’t exist in western languages.

Does it though? I’m sitting on one of those <3% mortgages but if I sold my house I’d also be entering the market to buy. This spread definitely locks in suboptimal outcomes but overall supply only comes from new construction.

If I were any legacy software company I would think Claude code is an existential threat. Though there is some value in paying someone else to make sure the software is good; if you are using free software for things you’re legally liable for, you have no recourse if the software messes up.

Lmao wow kind of surprised if they followed NFPA 130 here which does say it’s for fixed guideway transit, but you could argue NFPA 502 is better. That is the roadway tunnel standard which coincidentally has zero effect on roadway capacity.
