Featuring Rakhi Sawant, and what looked like Koena Mitra to me, but is apparently Zabyn Khan and her sister, the ethereal Mumaith Khan. naurrrgis @dilrhubarb.bsky.social · 20/07/2023Someone back on twt had recently asked about the best female duets. I'm thinking of best duet-dances (?) tho. Ofc, Choli Ke Peeche is one of the greatest. My girlies in Aa Re Pritam Pyaare, a song that's like my dil ki dhadkan (and with 3 dancers, not 2!) are having so much fun as well even as they 130

I've been thinking about Madhuri these days (as I do). can't wait to read Usha Iyer's book on dancing women in Hindi cinema because there's a whole chapter on her in it. naurrrgis @dilrhubarb.bsky.social · 16/07/2023Right? Little eldritch horror vibes. The teeth always had really long roots, too. Kinda like the Titanic iceberg. I got a LOT of ice cream out of all this, though. And I think I still put the extracted teeth under my pillow to qualify for the tooth fairy (even tho that isn't really a thing in India) 020

naurrrgis @dilrhubarb.bsky.social · 15/07/2023That's the thing! I think we know the scent is great, but it feels unexpected and glorious every time. 010
naurrrgis @dilrhubarb.bsky.social · 15/07/2023What's a great scent that's come your way recently? Last week, my mum cut a gondhoraj lime in half and the entire kitchen was fragrant. I never knew a citrusy, light scent could also be sooo rich and layered. Regular lemons smell synthetic in comparison. 541
