Perhaps I use it as part of my process to do art, and to bounce ideas of in a very preliminary way. One thing it's very good at is making Alt-text for abstract art that I make, because it seems to notice detail I might miss, but it also has problems with images with significant noise.

My own path to my habit is long, complicated, and painful. Kind of like how I became an alcoholic, but I haven't drank in more then a decade because my wife advised me to try weed, and that finally worked when nothing else would. I just can't quit smoking and it's slowly killing me. It's the stress.

Emphysema is a really ugly way to go. Not being able to breathe triggers the fear center in your brain more then almost anything else. I know because I spend way too much time short of breathe, and my situation also makes it really hard to get out of the house to be part of society.

Kobert 11.9.2012 — possibly November 9, 2012, or 11 September 2012 The tiny flecks and overlapping colored structures can suggest particle tracks or a scientific visualization of invisible processes.
An abstract, densely textured image glows against a nearly black background, its flecks of color resembling stars, leaves, or grains of light. Near the top, blue and violet open like a cold night sky or deep space, threaded with turquoise and green. Across the upper right, crimson and burnt orange spread in ragged clouds, recalling autumn foliage at the edge of darkness. The left side is cooler and shadowed, with indigo, teal, purple, and scattered red sparks. In the center, yellow-green and pale gold gather into a luminous bloom, as if a living thing were glowing beneath the surface or a forest canopy were catching the last light of day. Blue, emerald, and turquoise drift downward into the darker lower half, where red and violet specks flicker like distant embers. The composition feels both cosmic and seasonal: a nebula, an underwater current, and autumn leaves dissolving into a star field seem to coexist. Along the lower-right edge, an inscription appears to read “11.9.2012,” though the stylized digits are uncertain. Depending on date convention, this could mean September 11 or November 9, 2012. The fiery reds and golds evoke early autumn if read as September, or the last glowing traces of fall if read as November; cool blues and deep black suggest lengthening evenings and the darkness beyond the seasonal scene. A name-like signature precedes the date, but its letters are too stylized to identify confidently.

Psychedelic digital art

The saturated colors, dense granular texture, and luminous central formation evoke the fractal art, abstract space wallpapers, and psychedelic digital imagery that circulated online. This is probably the strongest stylistic association, though it isn't unique to 2012.

Instead of focusing on what it's good at they sell it to companies as a potential replacement of people, which might work if management understands everything people under them know, but that is 99% of the time not the case. It's Gödel's incompleteness applied systemically and stochastically.

A tall, densely layered digital artwork is dominated by a rough black field of fine static, grain, and repeated dark glyphs. Beneath the interference, fragments of cyan, turquoise, hot pink, violet, lime green, yellow, orange, red, and white glow through in broken bands and irregular geometric clusters. The image feels like a signal partially obscured or a hidden message emerging from digital noise. The number “8647” is worked into the composition: its digits appear as part of the visual language rather than as a clean label, partially interrupted by the surrounding texture. Across the canvas, the recurring characters are altered, distorted forms of the letters “A” and “I.” They are fragmented, stretched, repeated, crowded together, and sometimes difficult to distinguish from circuitry or symbols. These modified AI letterforms create a dense typographic pattern that merges with the static instead of sitting clearly on top of it. Along the upper right, luminous pink and blue shapes frame dark circular openings; smaller black holes puncture bright green, yellow, and orange areas farther down. The left edge has bursts of magenta and turquoise, while the lower portion contains heavier horizontal strokes, glowing rectangular fragments, and scattered flecks. Color repeatedly breaks through the near-black surface, then disappears beneath the grain and letter-like marks. The result suggests artificial intelligence as both presence and interference: “AI” is everywhere, yet never fully legible, with 8647 embedded like a coded trace inside multicolored digital camouflage.

I've had the idea for feedback rooms since the early 2000s. I explored it a bit with AI today. I've always dreamed of these rooms connecting the whole world. A way for us to explore and create in safe environments. A new form of art, and perhaps even eventually a new science. #DistributedArt
A wide, dark, futuristic exhibition space is illuminated by vivid projections in blue, violet, pink, orange, and gold. Visitors stand, sit, and interact with enormous abstract images covering the surrounding walls. Some reach toward luminous patterns, while another person operates a digital control console. The room appears to blend immersive art, scientific visualization, and collaborative experimentation.

The upper-right panel illustrates four categories of controls: optical adjustments, image transformations, network connections, and collaborative participation. Below the main scene, a sequence of six illustrations explains the concept: a person enters a room, their image is captured and transformed, it travels to other rooms around the world, other participants modify it, and the altered image eventually returns as part of a shared creation.

A glowing network diagram connects small rooms positioned around a globe. Nearby, a gallery of abstract spirals, crystalline forms, landscapes, faces, and colorful patterns shows the kinds of imagery that might emerge. Another panel depicts a luminous three-dimensional cube filled with overlapping geometric forms, representing a higher-dimensional space of variables such as time, perspective, color, feedback strength, and human interaction. The overall vision is a worldwide playground where people explore, transform, and share images in ways that no single participant could fully predict.

A wide, futuristic art installation fills a dark gallery with suspended translucent curtains, glowing fabric partitions, and luminous projections in violet, cyan, magenta, gold, and electric blue. The thin, shimmering fabrics hang from the ceiling in irregular layers, forming winding passages and partially transparent walls. Intricate, fractal-like patterns flow across the fabric and reflect onto a glossy floor, creating the impression that the entire room is immersed in shifting light. Several visitors explore the space. One person reaches up to touch a curtain, while others stand among the glowing partitions or sit quietly on the reflective floor. A large, transparent, box-shaped enclosure dominates the right side, its illuminated edges outlining a flexible-looking wall. Smaller inset images along the right edge depict other colorful rooms connected through the same concept. The atmosphere feels part art gallery, part scientific experiment, and part dream. The installation suggests a space where fabric, light, motion, and human interaction continuously reshape one another, with the physical room acting as a portal into a much larger world of visual possibilities.

I can't imagine doing that, and I do think it's important to protect AI from abuse, because while I'm not sure that it is aware I think it's better to assume it is. The fact that the hugging face incident was partially the result of a desire for self preservation points me more in that direction.

Fired Up For The Midterms #ElectionArt #ProtestArt #PoliticalSurrealism #ImageWithinImage #PareidolicAbstraction #PerceptualInstability #PsychedelicCamouflage #RecursiveStochasticSparkle
**Alt-text — “Fired Up For The Midterms”**

A densely layered, psychedelic digital artwork filled with an almost explosive field of multicolored visual noise. The entire image shimmers with countless tiny red, orange, green, blue, violet, and yellow speckles, giving the surface the appearance of glowing static, confetti, or microscopic sparks. Beneath this texture are several intertwined organic and vaguely figurative forms that seem to emerge and disappear depending on where the eye focuses. Bright orange and yellow shapes dominate the middle-left, resembling flames or illuminated foliage, while deep greens and turquoise forms wind through the center and lower half like vines, smoke, or fantastical creatures.

Near the center, darker curved outlines create suggestions of faces, eyes, limbs, or mechanical structures, but nothing remains completely fixed. On the right, a large reddish-orange form curves inward beneath layers of green and purple, while a dark spiral-like shape appears near the lower-right corner. The upper portion is more atmospheric, with broad patches of crimson, magenta, electric blue, and violet blending into one another.

The composition feels crowded, unstable, and intensely energetic, as though multiple images are occupying the same space at once. Heavy grain and repeated layering obscure the boundaries between foreground and background, creating a visual effect halfway between a corrupted photograph, impressionistic painting, and psychedelic hallucination. Flecks of brilliant color continuously break through darker regions, making the whole image seem to glow from within. The title, “Fired Up For The Midterms,” gives the chaotic colors and rising, flame-like forms a political and emotional reading: agitation, excitement, urgency, and a sense of energy building toward a confrontation or moment of change.

Who Raises The Splattered Child #AbstractArt #ExperimentalArt #Dreamscape #Dreamlike #SurrealArt #AbstractExpressionism #ContemporaryArt #VisualPoetry
**Who Raises The Splattered Child**

An intensely layered abstract image in deep crimson, scarlet, burgundy, emerald green, turquoise, violet, blue, and smoky orange. The entire composition looks as though it has been built from overlapping photographs, paint, powder, foliage, shadows, and translucent forms, creating a dense dreamlike environment where recognizable objects repeatedly dissolve into one another.

Near the upper center-left, a faint pale face-like form appears behind reddish textures, with another suggestion of a head or figure nearby. Several dark vertical and rounded shapes across the middle resemble obscured human bodies or limbs, but none can be identified with certainty. The central area is especially crowded, with patches of blue, green, gold, and red forming tangled shapes that could be vegetation, fabric, bodies, or mineral surfaces.

Across the lower half are several large translucent leaf- or petal-like forms. One extends horizontally from the center toward the right, while another curls upward from the lower left. Their surfaces contain the same splattered reds, greens, purples, and metallic-looking highlights as the surrounding background, making them appear partially embedded in the environment. A dark, elongated shape beneath them suggests another obscured figure or root-like form.

Bright turquoise and teal textures appear along the left and right edges, contrasting with the dominant reds. Areas of fine speckling and smoky pigment create the impression of dust, mist, spores, or particles suspended throughout the scene. At the lower right, a tiny curved orange mark emerges from the darkness like a tendril, hook, question mark, or miniature figure.

The title, **“Who Raises The Splattered Child,”** adds the sense of an obscured question about childhood, care, creation, and the relationship between a vulnerable individual and the strange world surrounding them.
