Forgive me if this is a wild take. But the new Fable looks incredible.

I am... so close to structuring my own game engine. It's like. On the tip of my tongue. I'm so close. 14 year old me would be proud I think.

Christ. It is not an easy time to be a Halo fan

I guess what I keep coming back to is just. Combat Evolved still exists. You can play it right now. What's the point of re-making a game in the modern day if not to make it. Modern?

I have yet to hear a complaint about the the Halo CE remake that is not entirely superficial

Learning ECS has been fun so far. It's like. Made engines click. The road to making my own Game Engine gets clearer every day

With any luck I'll be going into Computer Science at College this winter. If all goes well, my game development capabilites will be much better off than right now. Currently still trying to work on it, but perhaps I will even be able to call myself an honest to god Game Developer!

I'm a writer and musician. Both things suck in many ways and can feel like bashing your head against the wall. But the moments when you are writing and it is just flowing out of you, or someone comes up with a part and a song just forms itself as if by magic? That's the point. AI can't give you that

I have many thoughts on Skeletá. Too many to share here. Bland and Generic? Fuck no. Don't get why I keep hearing that. Weird as hell? New territory for Ghost? Absolutely. Still mulling it over, but I think it gets an 8/10 from me

I think smart phones + the general boom of "smart" technology is just. Diminishing returns at this point. Between Ghost's policy with the new shows and Eddy Burback's recent video, it's feeling like a good idea to disconnect more.

I cannot express how badly I want the Skeletour to come to Vancouver. It's been 6 years since I've gotten to see Ghost and I've been aching to see them again #ghost #thebandghost

So strange. I remember a time where Marvel/MCU seemed untouchable. Especially against DC movies. My how the tides seem to change. Brave New World is apparently hot garbage and the new Superman has me quite excited

Using AI to produce writing or art is like asking someone at the gym to lift weights for you. The effort is the point.

It's kinda poetic that Biden only accomplished anything at the very beginning and the very end of his presidency. Just 4 years of fucking around in between.

Life has felt quite cozy as of late. Watching silly stuff and going to the art gallery with my boyfriend. Working on my game. Watching Lord Of the Rings. Playing Link's Awakening. Making tasty meals. Anyway here's the view from outside the art gallery and a guy I designed for my game.

I think above all. The thing that confuses me the most, is the notion that harsh, cold, capitalism is the only option because MAYBE some parts of a new system won't work. People are fucking suffering across the board. Can we please TRY something else??

Look. A lot of love went into Black Myth Wukong. But Astrobot raised the bar and proved that modern tech can be used for more than just realistic graphics. They pushed the limit, and made something really unique, as a game with its resources SHOULD do. AND they made it fun. Astrobot deserved GOTY.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
