Primetime was everything I'd hoped for. Not mentioned in my review: the soundtrack is excellent. There's a Herrmann-esque quality to the whole thing. The straight strings parts are the most obvious--so crunchy and full of texture--but even the parts with electronics behind it don't lose that core.

Not sure I understand your argument here. From a business (and truly legal sense), a non-arms length relationship like this tied directly to funding is a no go. Period. Qualifications do not come into it, because the law is designed to protect against unconscious biases.

This article outlines most of the salient points. The issue at hand is that this airport sale opens Canadian airports up to for-profit industries for the first time, ever. This is the Australian model. Carney said it's not a great model; he never said he wasn't planning on doing the same.

What proof do you have that Canada’s not following the Australian model? To my and many folks’ read, this appears to be the model that Carney’s following. Of course, if he took time to flesh out announcements instead of ramming it through we wouldn’t have to get into interpretations like this.

He’s one of the primary investors in AI and has been flagged as offside by federal auditors due to how hard he’s pushing it. He’s the most environmentally disastrous PMs this century. He has already sided with scab labour and against unions. I agree he’s fiscally conservative. That’s a bad thing.
