I do kinda wish doctors’ offices chatted more about donations like the way Panda Express asks if you wanna round up for the kids at checkout, if they followed up every appointment with “And do you wanna sign up to donate blood while we’re getting these tests done?” or somesuch

I hope folks can forgive me for posting about travel and stuff all the time, I grew up being so poor that we washed out and reused plastic ziploc bags for school lunches so the concept of going places never really gets old, for me

In a dark TTRPG setting, a new form of entertainment is run by the elite class. A gladiatorial fight, where each fighter is a mundane person (often fighting against their will or to pay debts). However, teams of mages are allowed to buff/heal/empower champions however they want. (Or debuff.)

In my house I have: - Gold/black foil deluxe cover books with minimalist designs - TTRPG magazines (esp. Grim Omen) - Sidequest from @icarusgamedev.bsky.social - An ordinary newspaper that, upon closer inspection, is a Cairn module - Leather-bound TTRPGs - Art books from various horror games

I was asking on stream the other day why more TTRPGs don’t use skill trees, and chat was quick to point out how difficult they would be to print in book form. I wonder if there’s a solution to that? Apps/sites aren’t ideal (they’re great supplements but I don’t think they should be NECESSARY). idk.

If there’s one thing I’m quite proud of with my content and career and online persona in general, it’s that I’ve done a decent job giving off a generally positive vibe. Like I know it’s tempting to be a rant-tuber, and yelling at a camera gets views, but idk if we need more of that, tbh.

TikTok made a change on ads, changing their disclosure label from “paid promotion” to just “ad”, which makes it way smaller and a lot less noticeable (until audiences adjust to it again). So I guess maybe it’s a great time to make shortform promotions, if you want a cheatey extra 0.5s of watchtime

If there’s one thing I learned while working as a semi-scientist in college, it’s that academic leaders can be lowkey super accessible If your own searches around the internet aren’t giving you an answer, it’s 1000% okay to try and email a scientist and ask them. They’ve got that stuff MEMORIZED.
