I know I'm not particularly around on this account anymore, spending most of my time over on @stormcaptweaver.bsky.social, but mental health is a thing. Anyway my CPU died, and I need to replace it. I don't often ask for help. If anyone wants to, please do. If not, please signal boost. Need ~$300.

Right ring finger is... not doing good. Nerve damage is always bad off, but tonight it's particularly painful. Like the middle finger was about a month before it started acting up when I needed surgery. To put it in perspective, even the pressure to type shoots pain up to my shoulderblade.

Calypso would have been 37 today. Not taking that so very well. Thought I would be okay. I'm... really rather not. I've been mentally prepping all week, telling myself "I can handle this. I'm good. I've got this. It's just another day." It's not just another day.

I can rock the first four bars of the Stairway solo at tempo again. That may not seem like a big deal, but it's 98BPM, a lot of 16th notes and full bends. That's a full 8BPM faster than my hands can cover, and those bends are murder on my nerve damage. The next bars are triplets from hell...

Very possibly appendix. CT scan will tell all, but symptomology points to me getting a divorce and keeping the house.

One thing I'll be doing next month/early August is repainting/modding some Hot Wheels. As I get more comfortable with an air brush, I'm gonna give my Stingray blue ghost flames, and a racing number. Gonna find a few more castings of it as well, slip a 3D printed driver in it, and start entering ⤵️

$20.70 of that is JUST from UPS's import handling. $12 is the actual tariff. The rest of it is the actual shipping and handling from the seller. Still, ~224%. Just. Insane. I'll never buy from Machinegun Figures again, that's a fact.

Guys, gals, and non-binary pals, I have had the most brilliant idea. #Helldivers2 artillery shell lipstick holder. Twist the artillery barrel to turn the carousel!

An image of the shell loading pod from Helldivers 2, it has 4 shells in it, a blue, two green, and a red. The middle holder is empty. They look like large... well, artillery shells, with black cases. It's a close up, cropped shot, where you can only see the slot you load the shell in, and the gate the lets you see what all has been previously loaded, not the entire artillery piece. They honestly look like open lipstick tubes.
