Some coworkers and I played my #boardgame after work today and had a great time! They picked up the rules by their 3rd turn and started to see the decision space. The best thing I heard from them; "can we play again?" 🥲. We had to cut the game short, but I am so pleased!

🎲✂️ Playtest ~13 (losing count lol). Feeling pretty good about my #boardgame prototype. So thankful for my family's feedback over the holiday. Stress testing it at 2/3/4 player counts and refining the rulebook are my next steps. My goal is to submit this to Cardboard Edison in January 2025. 🙂‍↕️

Played #Arcs tonight for the first time tonight. 1v1 against my wife. We decided to play for 2 chapters or 1 hour (whichever was shorter) to learn the game. So much depth. I definitely could have taught the game better. But I think we both have a good working grasp of the game now 😁 #boardgames

🎲✂️ Space Debris Cleanup Crew Playtest 5 - end game is not balanced, total explosion of debris cubes. I think the solution is to prolong the mid game to give players more time before the #boardgame climaxes. On the plus side, this iteration is leaps and bounds more fun than iteration 1.

Players are close to completing the main objective of repairing all 4 satellites, but cannot stem the tide of orbital debris

Been using what I've learned in my #boardgamedesign analyses to create my own board game. Its like seeing the matrix 🤯 Drafting out a player's turn using diagrams helps identify edge cases, rule ambiguity, and excess complexity. Hoping to post more prototype details soon!
