Today I finally had time to do a craft project, and I bleached and re-dyed some pants that I spilled bleach on. I used Rit color remover, dye and fixative. The bleach stains are still visible, but look like normal old stains. Here is the "before and after" with the pair I bought to replace them:

Before: tan and black checkered pants. After: burnt orange pants with a hint of the previous checker pattern.
