That's really interesting. I struggle to sleep on my back, but if I do it's always a deep sleep. Surprisingly slight dietary changes can cause it, especially if you're getting more zinc or magnesium. Sometimes niacin. Sometimes shrimp 🍤 Bodies are weird! Are they so intense as to be disruptive?

I did a focaccia. Started with a recipe and immediately had to make substitutions, then decided to cook in the cast iron instead of a sheet pan. Pretty good, all things considered.

I had quite a bit of sludge still at the bottom, to the point where it wouldn't filter out even with a coffee filter. So I trashed the last cup or so. I'm sure someone with more fucks to give could have powered through, but I have plenty. Mine came out super dark, steeped the tea too long 💀

The whole experience was worth it for the house fragrance alone (OMG it's so good), so definitely not complaining. And it's tasty, just needs tuning. I also wonder how our different experiences with chai influence our flavor preferences, why some of us like more cardamom or star anise or whatever

3 cinnamon sticks, omit ground 1 tsp fresh ginger (I keep knobs frozen) omit honey/sugar omit vanilla (mine was pricey, didn't do much here) I would then make a cinnamon simple syrup w/ vanilla and use that as desired to boost the flavor. I think gently crushing/bruising the whole items helps, too

Still finding a groove. I use a mini-stepper and build around that (using stepper to elevate heels for squats, etc) I've also had great success with variations on shovelglove. Start slow. shovelglove.com When I have the spare coin I'm picking up a small treadmill for incline walking.

My ears are so small that I can't use any of the protective coverings on this piece, otherwise I'm pretty sure he would rip it off and eat it. As it is, I think the running and hiding it game brings him great joy - if I don't notice him stealing it, he comes to find/meow at me with sparkly eyes
