Beautiful Vision and Inarticulate Speech of the Heart. Van was about the only artist from the 60s/70s who had an exceptional and faultless run of 80s albums and it’s because he made the big 80s sound work for him. Anyone who doesn’t get 80s Van doesn’t get Van at all I fear
