Again, we can debate what we call the regime under which we now live. But it's not "democracy," there's no such thing as "free & fair elections" where this is allowed, & a constitutional order in which these things keep happening & they do not end a presidency is not really a "republic" of laws.

I have to laugh at the people (Merrick Garland) who thought it was a brilliant idea to stop all criminal prosecutions of the leader of the deadly Jan 6 insurrection just to let the criminal run for the White House again (and cheat.) Did they really believe he was suddenly going to follow the law?

If at any point you were listening to the voices of people telling you that the rule of law still exists in the United States, stop. I admire the fight many brave souls are putting in in courts, I want them to keep fighting, they may even sometimes win, but our rule of law is broken. Conclusively.
