Oh we're off to an incredible start already.

The deep dive into the burgeoning #cataphracts community has been really neat! Being a part of one of, if not the largest referee team for Vanguard has led to some really fun discussions on how the community is developing. All of which can be summed up in this exchange.

Vangaurd ref Acatalepsy: "As a referee you have all the information at your fingertips, which makes it very easy to develop the mistaken belief that you understand what is happening."
Vanguard ref deldon: "yeah in Vanguard we call it this"

"Okay."
"Okay I can see what they want."

Categorically Wrong. There is only one storygame that fits the bill.

Explaining #over/under to out of game players in #vanitera450 is making me realize what a farce the wargame turned into by the end

#Vanitera450 is yet another game that lets me commission one of my favorite artists to draw my character!! Thanks so much for bringing The Witch on the Red Wind to life @d20plusmodifier.bsky.social !!!

In case anyone was worried, the #over/under lesbians were keeping it messy right up to the 11th hour.

#over/under is finished, here's Asha's final Tempest scene

The beautiful thing about #over/under is that despite not getting to partake in Sam's The Sink/Doptown one-shot, I am within my fictional powers to order the players that did so to write a summary for me.

If anyone ever wanted to know why every Boss in #over/under smokes, this is what it's like to play the wargame.

I *cannot* stress enough how vital these two threads have been to keeping Tempest sane. If any #over/under faction doesn't already have their own meme/ooc channel please make one.

Food copy continues to be a source of inspiration. Sam Sifton has crafted a character in my mind with this intro to a delicata squash recipe that I know I'm going to incorporate into a game at some point. "Boats are for side dishes" said with such conviction – what chef has wronged this man?

I cannot fathom what the purpose of AI Photos on eBay listings serves other than ruining consumer trust in the platform. Buyers are already so damn skeptical of the authenticity of photos on the website where you BUY USED GOODS, now they'll never believe a seller.
