I have wanted to do this for YEARS, and after a couple of test runs to make sure it works I finally have a means to make it happen. Customizable character shirts/hoodies are launching this Friday!

A black hooded sweatshirt with white printed text on it. The front of the hoodie says "Kallista, Tempest Cleric" on two separate lines over the right hand part of the chest. Down the left sleeve is a series of stat modifier boxes with the numbers entered as they wpuld appear on a character sheet.

A charcoal black triblend long sleeve shirt with white printed text on it. The front of the shirt says "Siren Storm Sorcerer Scarlett Shours" on two separate lines over the right hand part of the chest. Down the left sleeve is a series of stat modifier boxes with the numbers entered as they wpuld appear on a character sheet.

Brilliant lecture by @brandonsanderson.com on why he rejects AI art. A perspective many of us have been trying to articulate for a while now. youtu.be/mb3uK-_QkOo?...

I've been exploring the forest behind our new house and finding all these amazing rocks and boulders covered by moss and lichen. The patterns make them look like magical runes so of course I had to paint them :) #cat #fantasy

My Lucky 13 from @fridaytea.com came and it's *so* tasty! ☕ Ambitiously also got tea cakes thinking "That's a cool way to try new flavors...I'll have to learn how to brew correctly before they come!" then promptly did no such thing, so I know what I'll be researching tonight.

Four individual bags of tea: Ancient tree shou tuo cha, Jasmine dragon ball white, Ming feng dragon ball, and Water sprite oolong

Discworld QOTD, from Snuff “Cheery was aware that Commander Vimes didn't like the phrase 'The innocent have nothing to fear', believing the innocent had everything to fear, mostly from the guilty but in the longer term even more from those who say things like 'The innocent have nothing to fear'.”

To the stranger seated next to me at a concert this weekend who realized I was deaf and typed the title of each song onto their phone as it started to cue me to which one it was so I could enjoy the show more fully: I hope life brings you nothing but kindness, gentleness, and amazing things. 🤟

First GalaxyCon was so much fun! Asked CR Dice Dragon Laura Bailey to bless my fav d20 (from @longdogdice.com) with a lucky roll and she rolled an 18! Was able to give her the stuffie Trinket I made, and add her autograph to the CR cast I've been slowly collecting over the years. She was so kind!

Not me getting misty eyed just reading the first few lines on the back of the @criticalrole.bsky.social 10 year anniversary hoodie....never the right words for how much these have meant over the years. Thanks for all the stories, y'all. Here's to many more!

I know it’s a lot of doom and gloom and people don’t know where to start so my suggestion is find your neighborhood/close by community fridge. Take when you need and donate when you can. That is something you can do.

This is correct — and, in fact, typical. Opposition parties typically aren't the driving force behind movements against democratic backsliding. To see what an alternative strategy looks like, read my new piece www.vox.com/politics/399...

This, the whole thread - beautiful. I am three cats old, and the deep ache of loss of those that came before is ever fresh. With the current fuzzy horde, that ache will grow exponentially someday, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat - life is nothing without these beautiful souls.

Cannot say enough how incredible this movie was. No dialogue, no names, just stunning visuals and sounds to tell a beautifully compelling story. It's only in theaters a couple more days, well worth going to see on the big screen!

Dice from various makers, games Sign and Inspirisles, pins from DOTS RPG, and an ornament of Mabruk from The Last Unicorn.

This beautiful deer came to rest in our yard this morning. We rarely see deer in the neighborhood, too populated/traffic heavy, so of course all the cats (and me) were fixated while he had a rest and then a morning snack before heading off. 🦌

How to filter out AI Images in Google Image Search. Sharing this with my students so I figured I'd also share it with everyone here. Hopefully this image is still relevant given Google's changes. Save this on your computer or phone and refer to it as needed.

HOW TO FILTER OUT AI IMAGES IN GOOGLE IMAGES

When you type something add the following minus keywords: -ai, -prompt

Since AI movement increased highly in 2022, use "before:" like before:2021 (VERY effective)

The following keywords will affect and should decrease amounts of AI imagery appearing on your search.

Create, not scrape!

My cats are a ray of sunshine on the darkest days, so perhaps here can be a place to enjoy pictures of the fuzzy crew, occasional knitting WIPs, dice I'm infatuated with, probably terrible nail art, and general geekery.

A peaceful moment from Thursday before #nycc2023 kicked off. Back home safe and sound after a whirlwind Thurs/Friday at my first #nycc. Brain is still swirling with many memorable moments, and when I've got the energy, I'll do bit more of a substantial post. I'm hooked, can't wait for next year.
